A compression of fur days in end of May.
Four days are naever enough to explore.
Welcome to Bali!!!
Plumeria, a flower that can be seen everywhere.
The best shot that i have for the room.
And the over-artificial garden view.
Staying in one of the hotels at Kuta Beach.
The stone craving entrance of Kuta Beach.
Breathe with beach, hear the beach and relax…
Hotels, restaurants, surfing schools are along Kuta Beach.
Surfing boy with tattoo (tattoo shops are everywhere as well)….. :]
Consistent current that is suitable for board surfing.
Went to one of the batik factories on the island.
I thought spinning frame will only appear in drama.
I’ve gotten a Barong (lion-dance-like creature) on my shirt.
A restaurant in Ubud – Padi Prada Suites Cafe Resto.
Padi field view but it was raining.
Grilled prawns (with garlic butter sauce).
Crispy Duck (with balinese dishes).
Supposed to have a dinner along the beach with sunset view at Jimbaran but that day was raining, sad!
And never go to Matahari Cafe that i went as the price will kill you!
Restaurants set up the tables on the beach.
Grilled prawns (with local sauce), it was quite nice.
Stir Fried Squid, alright, this wasn’t too good.
When the day was getting darker…
Corn cart by the beach.
The grilled corn was yummy..
Saw some good paintings but have no reason to buy.
1st time at NZX.
2nd time at Pyramid.
Same cafe, but different location.

I like to see the small plant as centerpiece.

Soda Grape Peppermint with Sourplum Pop – the sourplum pop is a MUST TRY.

Pineapple Chicken Salad – i don’t like salad, but i like pineapple and chicken, so, i like it..

Rosella Spaghetti – i like it!!! Especially the FRESH prawn!!!
For Rosella Spaghetti.
Everytime i dislike the garlic sauce.
But everytime i love the chili flakes!
Grhhh..
It was..
Supper for me i guess.
Likey..
NICE……

Last day in Batam and Singapore.
Not gonna blog about Batam as early morning had to depart to Singapore.
In Singapore:-
Met up with Joe.
And i ate quite alot.

Don’t remember what this called (some kind of pizza).

Mushroom Soup (one of my favourite, nice..
)

Spaghetti Marinara (yummy..!!)
I guess these are them..
Expecting for next trip..
Hmmm….
Second day in Batam.
Had a city tour that included in my package.
A poor van with other people.
Omg..
First, went to temple.
We all prayed (i guessed).
Then, went to Polo Ralph Lauren showroom.
According to the tour guide, this is the original and cheapest one.
But not fancy of it, so..
I bought nothing.
After this, went to Golden Beach (still under constructions actually).
Few activities available, such as flying fox (that you won’t feel to play), go kart (small field) and Cheng Ho Cruise (still not started operating yet).
No one wanna joined any activities.
And other than go kart, no public is joining any of the activities as well.
At the same place, Golden Beach, there’s Batam Folk Culture Villages Miniature.
That is actually the traditional house maniature of 27 provinces from Indonesia.
Among all these, they’re similar and particular malay houses, slight different design.
Except this one:

Province Irianjaya R. Kariwari
After all these ‘sight-seeing’.
Time to shop for the local food of Batam.
Same as previous, i bought nothing.
Then went for lunch at the seafood restaurant next door.
Nice cooking and seasoning but the seafood is just..
Lil too small…
No photos capture as the whole group were eating like hungry ghosts (dislike eating at the same table with strangers!).
Makan-ed, proceed to the nearby cultural performance.

Peeling the coconut shell by teeth..

Jumping through the fire ring.
We needed to give tips to the performers, ha…
Went to another temple again.
Same thing, we prayed.
And the city tour is ‘officially’ ended.
But we requested to go to Nagoya, the only best shopping mall in Batam (the local said).
And we are truly disappointed with it.
Bought only one shirt that cost around S$2, ha…
Had dinner there.

Iced Cendol (not-so-nice, especially the cendol).

Tuna Bolognese Spaghetti (have no idea why there’s spring onion sprinkled on top).
Done, went back for spa.

Ended my 3D2N trip.
KL-Singapore-Batam-Singapore-KL.
Hmm..
Kinda tiring of travelling around.
Ate lunch at Uncle’s Kitchen, Bugis.

Uncle’s Fried Rice – nice but fried rice slightly too ‘plain’..

Nasi Bojari – i dislike basil rice..
Went to Harbourfront to take ferry.

There was a star cruise there, so HUGE!!

Super Star Virgo, my future trip, haha..
While waiting for the boarding time, had drink at Black Canyon Coffee.

Iced Thai Tea in cold cup of Black Canyon Coffee.
Heading to Sekupang, Batam.
The islands next to Singapore, view from Batam.
Was kinda late when arrived in the villa.
Had very simple and not-so-nice dinner that ordered from the coffee house.
Quick snap of few photos before entering to room.
As i was not planning to go out anymore except for spa.
My first day of Batam trip ended up with a 90-minute spa package.
This is the most satisfied enjoyment here.
